From recorded video to actionable intelligence.

Cybersmetrics engineers AI video analytics, license plate recognition, access control, fiber optics and secure networks as one operating system for HOAs, condominiums, businesses, military and government facilities from Port St. Joe to Destin.

Beyond camera counts

The right alert is more valuable than another thousand hours of video.

Security platforms can now classify targets, index events, associate access activity with video and surface vehicle evidence in seconds. But features alone do not create results.

We begin with the decision your team needs to make—verify an entry, investigate a vehicle, detect a perimeter event, control a door or keep distant buildings connected—then engineer the field conditions, infrastructure and workflow required to support it.

Core capabilities

Modern tools. Field-verified performance.

01

AI video intelligence

Analytics that find meaningful events

Modern analytics help operators focus on people, vehicles and behaviors that matter instead of reacting to every change in the picture.

  • Human and vehicle classification
  • Line-crossing and intrusion detection
  • Loitering and dwell-time alerts
  • Attribute and forensic event search
  • People counting, occupancy and queue insights
  • Rules tuned and verified in the real scene
02

Vehicle intelligence

License plate recognition engineered for evidence

Reliable LPR is a capture problem first. We design around lane geometry, speed, angle, shutter, lighting and nighttime conditions before choosing equipment.

  • Dedicated entry and exit capture
  • Day and night plate optimization
  • Searchable vehicle event history
  • Watch-list and notification workflows
  • Gate and parking system integration
  • Retention and access-policy planning
03

Identity and entry

Access control for doors, gates and elevators

Control should make a property safer without making daily operations harder for residents, staff, vendors or visitors.

  • Cloud or on-premise platforms
  • Mobile, card, fob and PIN credentials
  • Gate, door and elevator control
  • Video intercom and visitor entry
  • Schedules, roles and audit trails
  • Lockdown and emergency workflow planning
04

Security infrastructure

Fiber optics and networks built for uptime

Cameras, readers and analytics only perform when the transport layer is stable. We engineer the backbone as part of the security system.

  • Single-mode and multimode fiber
  • Fusion splicing and enclosure work
  • OTDR and loss testing
  • Managed PoE switching and VLANs
  • Point-to-point wireless bridges
  • Redundancy, labeling and as-built documentation
05

Specialty vertical transportation

Custom AI analytics for smart elevators

We integrate video, sound, elevator event data and LED screens to create a more observable, communicative and responsive elevator environment.

Explore smart elevator systems
  • Custom behavior and event analytics
  • Video and two-way audio correlation
  • Floor, direction and event-data overlays
  • LED messaging and emergency information
  • Remote incident review and diagnostics
  • Retrofit and new-construction architecture

Integrated workflows

When systems share context, teams respond faster.

A plate read, credential event or AI detection becomes more useful when it can point an authorized operator directly to the related video and documented response.

Detect

Analytics identify the event

Rules filter for the person, vehicle, movement or condition that matters.

Verify

Video provides context

Operators review the relevant scene instead of searching through hours of footage.

Control

Access systems manage entry

Doors, gates and elevators follow property policies, roles and schedules.

Investigate

Searchable evidence shortens review

Event, vehicle and credential records help authorized teams reconstruct activity.

Responsible deployment

Powerful technology needs clear rules.

We help clients consider user permissions, retention, audit trails, notification thresholds and documented operating procedures. Capabilities vary by platform and site conditions, and analytics must be tested against the actual scene.

For military and government environments, solutions are designed around the facility’s stated security, network and procurement requirements. We do not assume a commercial workflow fits every mission.

Technology answers

Frequently asked questions.

Clear answers for boards, managers, IT teams and facility stakeholders evaluating a modern security upgrade.

Can AI analytics work with an existing camera system?+

Sometimes. Compatibility depends on camera quality, field of view, recorder or video-management platform, available processing and the analytic objective. Cybersmetrics assesses the existing system before recommending edge, server-based or replacement options.

Is an overview camera enough for license plate recognition?+

Usually not. A wide overview camera and a dedicated LPR camera solve different problems. Plate capture requires a tighter scene and exposure settings designed for moving reflective plates, especially at night.

Can access control connect with video surveillance?+

Yes. A properly integrated system can associate door, gate or credential events with relevant video, making investigations faster and giving operators better context.

Why use fiber optics for a security system?+

Fiber carries high bandwidth over long distances, resists electromagnetic interference and can connect buildings, gates, parking areas and high-rise distribution points where copper is unsuitable or exceeds distance limits.

Do advanced analytics replace people or security procedures?+

No. Analytics support operators by filtering events and improving search. They still require good system design, documented procedures, appropriate response and ongoing validation.

What is a smart elevator AI system?+

It is an integrated elevator environment where video, sound, operational data and displays can work together. Depending on project scope and available interfaces, the system can support event detection, incident review, emergency communication, operational messaging and faster diagnostics.
